The building the hotel is functioning in dates back to the early
1900s when Oradea spreads out a new style, regardless the academics,
forging the promises of a stylistic diversion based on ingenious and
originality. The new created style, Secession (Art Nouveau) had two
great periods, the curved and floral line and the geometric purged
form. The most representative architects are: Komor Marcell, Jakab
Dezso, Sztarill Ferenc, Mende Valer, Vago Jozsef and Laszo,
Rimanoczy Kalman junior. The most important achievement in the style
is the Palace of Vulturul Negru (1907 - 1909) the passage covered
with glass linking 3 streets.
The building is multifunctional including of that time a casino, a hotel,
offices, bureaus, restaurant, grouped in 3 non symmetric bodies. The
mark of the building the Black Eagle has been accomplished in 1909
in the Neumann K. workshop.
The positioning of the Vulturul Negru is ultracentral, the reconditioning
of the interior has been made by preserving the Art Nouveau style.
The hotel capacity is made up of 47 rooms out of which 4 suites. They
include:
- single room: colour TV, satelite, internet, phone, air
conditioning, a frigo bar, shower bathroom, hair dryer, bide,
exquisite vista.
- double room, matrimonial bad 1,80/2 m: shower bathroom or
hydromassage, bide, air conditioning, cable, internet, phone,
exquisite vista.
- double twin room have 0,90/2 m beds, shower bathroom or
hydromassage, bide, colour Tv, satellite, internet, air
conditioning, frigo bar.
The double rooms at the 3rd floor have huge matrimonial beds with veils.
The apartaments have a splendid vista over the old city with impressing
buildings, cut out of the city history over the Crisul Repede river;
the dormitory has a matrimonial bed 1,80/2 m, internet, colour TV,
air conditioning, cable, phone, hydromassage, bide, hair dryer,
exquisite vista. The spacey living rooms of the apartaments have a
bed of 0,90/2 m.
All 47 rooms have elevator access. There is a day bar at the 1st level
with a glass seiling right in the center of the building. This bar
has 60 places opened for nonresidents too. At the 4th floor is
situated the conference room, its capacity is of 80 places has
computers connected on the internet. The restaurant is also situated
at the level 4, with 80 places capacity, breakfast included.
The hotel includes a parking area, that causes over 30% of incoming
guests, parking situated next to the hotel.
Another facility the hotel Vulturul Negru disposes of, is a massage
parlour and a night bar soon to be open!
